Be the link between our business and our employees
As an HR Advisor, you will become a part of the HR Nordics organization with a team of 6 dedicated colleagues and will have a direct reporting line to the Head of HR Nordics. Some tasks related to compliance with local legislation and labor law will be your responsibility, while other HR tasks related to the employee life cycle will be completed in collaboration with your Nordic colleagues.
As the HR Advisor, you will also be supporting our Norwegian colleagues in HR matters, including labor law and admin tasks. Our purpose is the support Bureau Veritas across borders by delivering excellent HR service in everything from payroll, and administration, to management support.
Thus, your primary work and task will be within:
- Employee & Labor relations
- Payroll for our Finnish employees, including reporting of absence and attendance
- General HR advisory
- Admin and maintenance of HR data
- Steps in the employee life cycle
In addition to this, you can also expect to be supporting the local organization in Finland with business matters related to operational support, e.g., with IT, external partners and Subcontractors, as well as ad hoc projects.

We do this, among other things, by offering you the world's best colleagues and an onboarding process, where you quickly gain an insight into the entire company and the interaction between all departments, also across the Nordics.
What will make you successful at Bureau Veritas
We imagine that you have a solid background in HR and are looking for a proactive and problem-solving-oriented HR Advisor, who can adapt to working both independently and in collaboration this the Nordic team.
Thus, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Solid HR experience
- Willingness to corporate across the Nordics
- Knowledge of Finnish labor law – a plus would be knowledge of Norwegian labor law
- A positive mindset and is driven by obtaining results.
