About the role
We have an opportunity for a dynamic Sales professional – Account Manager to join our Whyalla Branch.
In this role you are responsible for securing profitable sales of company products and services. This includes achieving the company’s objectives through being accountable for promoting the capabilities of its products and services in the marketplace. You will also ensure that profitability of new business is generated through existing and new customers.
About you
- Strong technical experience in an industrial or trades related industry;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Account Manager role;
- Proven ability to manage and build relationships with customers;
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Strong understanding of the Whyalla area and the mining sector – would be advantageous;
- A high degree of motivation with a self-starter approach;
- Ability to look for strategic solutions to achieving Company objectives;
- Is experienced in the coordination of sales orders to the customer,
- Can confidently prepare regular electronic reports on business call and related activities,
- Contribute to sales forecasts, quotes prices and prepare sales contracts,
