Country Villa Los Feliz Nursing and Healthcare Center is a beautiful facility located in Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, that provides skilled nursing care to our clients. We are currently looking for an Activity Aide to join our team.
Country Villa Los Feliz is looking for a dynamic Activity Aide join our team and provide our residents with an exceptional care experience. As an Activities Aide you will lead group and independent activities for the resident population. You will assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational social, intellectual emotional and spiritual programs in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan and as directed by the Activity Director.
Responsibilities
- Activites Aide Duties include charting, initial assessment, documentation, activity planning, implementation of scheduled activities, and supervision of activity staff members.
- Activites Aide Performs patient activities (therapeutic and diversional) for all residents in accordance with Federal, State and Company requirements.
- Activites Aide Carries out support tasks relating to patient activities correctly and on schedule.
- Activites Aide Tracking weekly participation in group activities while encouraging participation
- Activites Aide Ensures resident activity calendars and communications are updated and posted in a timely manner
- Activites Aide Provide necessary adaptations (creative or supplies) to meet individual resident needs.
- Activites Aide Participate in special events.
- Activites Aide Ensuring all charted activity progress notes are descriptive and detailed
- Activites Aide Coordinating activities with other departments and working collaboratively with all staff
- Activites Aide Following Infection and Control policies and Safety and Sanitation procedures
- Activites Aide Preparing background materials and conducting relevant research for activities within the provided curriculum
- Activites Aide Facilitate resident outings into the community as determined by their interests and abilities.
Experience
- Activities experience in long-term care highly desired but not required.
- Activities Certification highly desired but not required.
- Must have leadership skills, be extremely attentive to details, and be an effective communicator.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.40 - $19.01 per hour
