An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage Tesla's Body Repair function in Germany, to be based in Berlin!
Tesla Body Repair Managers play an integral role within the Tesla Body Repair Center. They are responsible for developing business through insurance adjusters, customers and other sources. Body Repair Managers maintain customer satisfaction standards while controlling expenses and managing employee production and performance. Responsible for visionary projects around accidental damage management and carry out the rollout in Germany together with the Body Shop Managers.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborating with internal team leaders across business functions to drive project execution (design, supply chain, logistics, legal, accounts payable, etc.)
- Meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators including CSI, profitability and cycle time, whilst forecasting and exceeding goals and objectives for the site, through regular audits of shop operations
- Providing regular coaching and feedback, have a deep knowledge of the team’s strengths and opportunities
- Coaching and developing BodyShop staff, addressing any situations as they arise to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment and ensure our Brand Standards
- Working closely with Service Lead Germany to oversee all daily operations of the body repair center and ensuring delivery of excellent results on all aspects of customers, people, operations and financials
- Managing vendor partnerships and ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Championing safety, efficiency, quality and overall excellence in all actions and decisions
- Process / operations experience: strong and proven experience leading field, technical repair or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities
- Project Lead in Accident Management or comparable
- An ability to lead and motivate your staff to reach common goals
- Experience running complex processes using Six Sigma or Toyota Lean
- A proficiency with estimating systems and insurance direct repair guidelines
- A background of handling vendor management
- In-depth understanding of automotive repair procedures and knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the collision repair of vehicles
- Excellent at communicating in English and German, and able to influence at all levels
